The 2026 Edition Sick Week Will Have One Lucky Competitor Winning Mike Finnegan’s All-Aluminum Drag and Drive Style Trailer!
As the drag and drive community continues to evolve with more events, better performances, and the drag and drive community growing larger, a natural desire for some to look at their program and determine if changes or upgrades are needed from year to year.
After participating in drag and drive event for over a decade, 3-time Sick The Mag event winner Mike Finnegan decides to go next level on his drag and drive trailer game, getting together with B&P Manufacturing for a truly unique build. Now, just over a year later, Finnegan is paying it forward by putting that trailer up as a prize at this year’s Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive!
In addition to Mike Finnegan, the 2026 edition of Gear Vendors Overdrive Sick Week, February 1st through 7th, will showcase some of the best in drag and drive! Brett LaSala, Stefan Gustafsson, Graham Hayes, Josh Davis, Tom Bailey, Jeff Lutz, and more will be looking for another class win, while over 900 street miles of driving awaits competitors through Florida and South Georgia! For Finnegan, it started like many other competitors with a standard-sized single-axle trailer to haul the necessities during a drag and drive event. But because of space limitations and layout, Finnegan would typically find himself emptying the entire trailer on most days to gain access to the tools and parts he needed. There had to be a better way.
Enter B&P Manufacturing, a Michigan-based manufacturer that produces several things, including sealed missile containers for the United States Department of Defense! Granted, Finnegan wasn’t in the market for a missile container, but B&P Manufacturing owner Craig Hewett managed to hit the targets Finnegan challenged him with.
“When Craig and I first started talking about the trailer, he rough drew it based on measurements of everything we carry during a drag and drive event,” Finnegan said. Less than a month later, the trailer you see here, based on lightweight 6061 T-6 aluminum, was created.
Finnegan debuted the trailer at the 2025 edition of Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, and also employed it at Sick At The Rock Presented by Motion Raceworks, Sick On The Green, Hot Rod Drag Week, and Edelbrock Sick Smokies. After a year of use, Finnegan will put this trailer up as a prize to one lucky competitor at this year’s Sick Week event!
“All you got to do to win it is cut better lights than everyone else entered in the event,” said Finnegan. “To be specific, the average reaction time for all five of the time slips you turn into sick The Magazine will determine who's dragging home this all-aluminum badass B&P Manufacturing trailer.”
To better define the rules:
- The lowest reaction time average from a single competitor will win a used 2025 B&P Manufacturing trailer from Mike Finnegan / Finnegan Speed & Marine.
- A competitor can only submit one time slip per track day, and that time slip submission for reaction time MUST be the same time slip submitted for a competitor’s elapsed time (cannot submit multiple time slips – one for reaction time and one for elapsed time).
- Mike Finnegan / Finnegan Speed & Marine reserves the right to add rules / clarifications at any time.
Now, let’s get to the details of the 2025 B&P Manufacturing trailer:
