Melling Performance Excited, Hoping for Beginner’s Luck as They Participate on Their First Sick Kart Kaos in 2025

Sick Kart Kaos is THIS WEEK, Thursday, December 11th, as we host the fastest party during the Performance and Racing Industry (PRI) Show in Indianapolis.

Eight teams will duke it out at Fastimes Indoor Karting, created from Sick’s great group of sponsors and supporters. One that will be competing in Sick Kart Kaos for the first time in 2025 is Melling Performance, who hopes to bring as solid an effort to karting as they do to the PRI Show.

Sick the Magazine is gearing up for a solid 2026, as we will host FIVE drag-and-drive events! Make plans to join us at one (or more) of our events next year: Gear Vendors Overdrive Sick Week, Motion Raceworks Sick Summer, Sick Michigan Miles, Sick 66, and Sick On The Green. For more information and details on these events, visit the Sick The Mag events page by CLICKING HERE!

Leading the charge for Melling Performance will be Cale Risinger, and he’s looking forward to the challenge. “I don’t know what to think or expect since this is my first year,” said Cale. “I am excited and honored to be chosen as a team captain for this event.”

When it comes to picking his four-person team from the 80 drivers that will be up for grabs after qualifying, Cale is hoping to get some co-workers, as well as solid drivers. “I am looking for a good driver that makes good laps,” he said. “I have a couple of our guys that I think will do very well, not sure if I will get the opportunity to select them, but most likely will if they are available.”

Melling Performance joined Sick The Magazine as part of our Sick Michigan Miles event, and even welcomes us at their facility as a stop on our first day. They also offered tours, and their large parking lot provided a cool place for competitors and Sick Ward enthusiasts to get together.

Cale will join several of his co-workers for the Melling Performance booth at the PRI Show, and it will cover more product than you might think. “With Melling Performance being an engine parts supplier, this is our biggest show of the year,” said Cale. “PRI is a great show, we enjoy getting together with all the customers and vendors that we might not get to see face to face as much as we would like to throughout the year.

“It also gives us the opportunity to speak to the end user which gives us the opportunity to get valuable feedback when developing new product or might give us some insight on improvements we might be able to implement into existing product.”

You can visit Melling Performance at booth 1515 at the PRI Show.
