Sick Week 2027 Sold Out on Competitor Spots – Sick The Mag Has 5 More Event Options in 2027 You Can Participate In, Plus Sick Ward, Sick Spit Show & Shine, And Sick Wildcard Spots Up for Grabs!

From the first edition of Sick Week in 2022, it has gained a reputation for being a drag and drive event not to be missed. From the quartet of world-class race tracks featuring great track prep overseen by Sick Prep team, to the cool, crisp weather and scenic drives, it all comes together to create a platform where competitors consistently deliver record-setting performances.

Because of all these factors, Sick Week competitor spots have been in high demand since that first edition in 2022, and after five completed versions of Sick Week, that demand remains as strong as ever. The 2027 edition of Sick Week is no different, with just a minute ticked off the clock before the ‘Sold Out’ tag appeared.

If you didn’t grab one of those coveted competitor spots, there are multiple ways to join us for the adventure of Sick Week. PLUS, Sick The Magazine will host five event opportunities in 2027, giving you the chance to experience new destinations, and experience new memories.

Drag and drive enthusiast and competitor, as well as the man behind Sick the Magazine, Tom Bailey knew he had a unique and successful event from that first Sick Week in 2022. But, the demand for Sick Week meant the community wanted more; both in the form of consistent events each year, as well as unique events each and every year. And Tom has worked to deliver that.

“The Sick The Mag slogan ‘For The Adventure’ is more than just a couple words,” said Tom. “It can mean something different to each competitor, each Sick Ward participant, and even every spectator that joins us. Our team listens, and we strive to deliver events that enthusiasts eagerly look forward to each year.”

Similar to Sick Week, our popular staple event Sick Summer will return to the Midwest, June 13th through the 18th, 2027. A great way to kick off summer time, Sick Summer also features a solid showing of over 300 competitors, several top vendors on our daily midway at each track, and great cruising route through a trio of states over a week in June not to be missed.

If Sick Summer sounds like your way to experience a drag and drive, CLICK HERE to visit the Sick Summer event page for more details, and fill out the ‘Expression of Interest’ so we can get you more details on those competitor spots.

Similar to our 2026 season, Sick The Magazine will offer multiple additional events to our popular Sick Week and Sick Summer events in 2027. “The community spoke up and showed up, and we took notice,” said Tom. “Because of that, we have four events joining Sick Week and Sick Summer for 2027.”

The third week-long event for 2027 will be Michigan Miles, which Sick The Mag hosted for the first time in 2025. “I originally wanted the chance to celebrate our home state,” said Tom. “And the feedback was insane. So many people, from competitors to spectators and Sick Warders, came out and enjoyed it. Doing it again became an easy choice, and that second helping was well received. So, we’re bringing the adventure back for round three in 2027, and we’ll make it an adventure not to be missed.”

We will also be bringing back our three-day event in May at Beech Bend Raceway Park, the Sick Weekend in Kentucky, May 13-16th, 2027. We’re working out the final details on it, and will have more to share soon.

The 2027 season will add two new events, and although we’re still in the planning stages of both events, we can reveal some details on them at this point.

The first new event is Sick On The Gulf, set to take place on October 3rd through the 9th, 2027. It will be based on the Gulf Coast, and incorporate tracks in Louisiana, Alabama and Florida. It should make for a fun week of cruising and racing.

Sick On The Gulf will continue our fall event spotlight on Gassers, and we’re planning to once again have a solid showing of the trio of Gasser classes. Make sure to fill out the expression of interest form for early event entry opportunities by CLICKING HERE.

The second new event of 2027 is Sick In The Desert, scheduled for November of 2027. We’re working on the details of this one, but if you’d like to be kept up to date, CLICK HERE to fill out the expression of interest!

As we’ve done at all our week-long events, the popular Summit Racing Equipment Sick Ward Presented by Peak Performance option is on the roster for 2027! It gets you admission for one into each track, plus an event windshield banner and participant t-shirt, and at least one meal with us at the beginning or end of the event.

There’s also the popular Sick Spit Show & Shine upgrade option, with inside pit parking and eligibility for show awards.

“We’re giving you more options than ever for Sick The Mag events in 2027,” said Tom. “We’re covering more places, and hope you can join us for a day, or the entire event, and experience your own adventure with Sick the Magazine in 2027!”
