Victor Alvarez Announces Next Round of Upgrades at Bradenton Motorsports Park with New Entrance-Exit Road as the Highlight!
Since its opening in 1971, Bradenton Motorsports Park has hosted a lot of solid racing, including ground breaking events, world records and even teamed up with their next-door neighbor, the Freedom Factory.
Recently, co-owner of Bradenton Motorsports Park Victor Alvarez announced some updates that will affect both tracks, and we talked with general manger Josh Dauta to expand on them.
These upgrades don’t come as a surprise to some, as both tracks have seen some major changes in the last five years. “You have two owners that are motivated to bring motorsports at these tracks to the next level,” said Josh. “We always have ideas in the pipeline.”

For Chuck Stefanski, Rick Trunkett, and Bob Hess Jr., they combined their enthusiasm and knowledge into Big 3 Racing, a shop in Ohio. Unfortunately, the shop suffered a devastating shop fire in July of 2024, but today Big 3 Racing announced they have brighter futures ahead, with a new building starting to take shape!
“We have not one, but two buildings being built trackside: One for mechanical work, fabrication and parts sales and the other to house our dynos.”

After ten years, a soft opening in 2022, and being shuttered for almost two years, a drag strip in West Virginia will get a second chance. And a former IHRA / PDRA championship family will lead the charge to put action on the track once again.
