Five Reasons Why Sick Summer Presented by TBM Brakes Should be On Your Mandatory Summer Bucket List

Let’s face it: it’s December and most of the country isn’t drag racing due to cold temperatures. But June 2023 will be here before you can say sun block, and with registration opening for Sick Summer Presented By TBM Brakes in less than 24 hours, here’s some reasons you should make it part of your summer agenda.

  1. The track prep! Sick Summer Presented By TBM Brakes will feature VP Racing prep on all tracks, executed by Total Venue Concepts. The best prep means the best chance of setting records and personal bests. Whether you’re on Top Fuel slicks on 235 radials, you’re going to find a track surface that works for you.

  2. An all-star list of mid-America tracks! Cordova Dragway, Bryon Dragway, Great Lakes Dragaway and Tri-State Raceway all have long and storied histories. Great Lakes Dragaway and Byron Dragway in particular have both been rabid supporters of drag-and-drive events in the past, so we look forward to filling the stands with fans keen to see America’s quickest street cars.

  3. The coolest check points! Motion Raceworks, a retro drive-in restaurant, and the real movie site for the Field of Dreams are among the scheduled stops. The drives will actually be even shorter than Sick Week, and with those long June nights we will all have plenty of time to hang out and meet each other. Sick Summer is a little racing, and a lot of partying!

  4. New rides! Just a scan through our expression of interest list reveals that there are a whole bunch of interesting machines planning on entering, not the least of which will be the Sick The Mag screw blown Hemi Dodge Durango! Plus, there’s going to be an epic nitro surprise you don’t want to miss.

  5. A live stream of racing action all five days courtesy of Gear Vendors Overdrive. We are all about growing drag-and-drive and with a FREE live stream you will be able to follow Sick Summer Presented by TBM Brakes from anywhere around the world!
