About Edelbrock Sick Smokies
SEVENTY Gassers from 23 states will be dragging and driving through the southeast for Edelbrock Sick Smokies this October! This will be a one-of-a-kind event not to be missed.
They'll be joined by 200 more of America's toughest street cars as they race at Rocket City Dragway, Music City Raceway, Crossville Dragway, Knoxville Dragway and Brainerd Dragway. But racing is just half the battle as the mountain drives will push our drivers to the max!
Get your spectator tickets and Sick Ward entries now and you'll go into the running to win a 2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat SRT plus $5000 in cash.
New to drag-and-drive events? Here’s the deal. We will be hitting five tracks and the only way you can get between them is by driving the same vehicle you race. No transporters or haulers, no support teams. It’s the adventure of a life time.
Sound good? Come and spectate at one of five race tracks or join us for the entire week as a participant in the Sick Ward!

edelbrock sick smokies will be a gas!
Edelbrock Sick Smokies will have a special focus on Gassers, a type of race car that represents the original spirit of drag racing!
This one-time-only event is all about the adventure. We're going to have some fun with the racing of course, but the show is just as important. Think big burnouts, dry hops, backup girls, team uniforms - just like the Southeast Gassers Association likes to do. We're going to have a special Sick orange helmet for the Spirit of the Smokies, going to the Gasser team that puts on the best display of all of these elements. There will also be helmets for winners in A/Gas, B/Gas and Outlaw Gas.
With over 70 Gassers entered, you’re not going to want to miss Edelbrock Sick Smokies if you are a gasser fan!

Schedule
Be there early! Unlike eliminations-style racing, this is all about getting one good run on each day. Many of the best runs come early in the morning. Just like you might miss the best touchdown if you arrive late to a football game, drag-and-drive has action at every moment!
Buy your tickets online before the event and save $5, plus you’ll go into the draw to win a 2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat SRT!

Route
Edelbrock Sick Smokies will be an 884-mile adventure through the southeast of the United States. Starting in Huntsville, AL, we will work our way up the Natchez Trace and drive through Nashville’s famed Broadway stretch! Across Tennessee we will travel, winding through the mountains and finding cool places to check out along the way as we hit Crossville and Knoxville. The Great Smoky Mountains will come into view and we will brave the Tail of the Dragon before cruising through Chattanooga and beyond as we return to Alabama.
Sick uses Ride With GPS to provide detailed navigation for events. You can view the route without downloading the app. For navigation, you will need to download the app and sign up for a free account (ignore prompts for payment), then click on the Navigate link.
