We’ve Got The Dates – The 2027 Edition of Gear Vendors Overdrive Sick Week, and Motion Raceworks Sick Summer, Dates Are Locked In!
After the success of the first Sick Week presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive in 2022, the question was “when can we do a second big event, and when is the next Sick Week,” according to Tom Bailey. The 2023 season would see the second annual Sick Week, and the first edition of Sick Summer presented by Motion Raceworks.
With all the support from competitors, Sick Warders, spectators, and especially the race tracks and sponsors, the Sick The Magazine team can officially announce the dates for Sick Week and Sick Summer in 2027.
Sick Week presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive will be February 8th through the 13th, 2027. Motion Raceworks Sick Summer will be June 13th through the 18th, 2027.

Gear Vendors Overdrive Sick Week Prepares for Sixth Event in 2027
Combining the cool Florida winter air, top-notch track prep, and popular checkpoints / stops along the way, the Gear Vendors Overdrive Sick Week event has been a popular way to start the season for thousands of enthusiasts since it was first contested in 2022.
The 2026 edition of Sick Week took it to a different level, as the team from Sick Prep joined us for the first time, resulting in new class records in multiple classes, both for Sick The Mag events, and national drag and drive level.
We also added a drive day for the first time, breaking up the travel from the furthest northern track, South Georgia Motorsports Park, and our most southern point of the event, Bradenton Motorsports Park. It received a ton of praise, so we’re bringing it back for 2027!
We also saw record levels of Sick Ward and Sick Spit Show & Shine participants at Sick Week, and we appreciate each and every one of you joining us for the week!
We will have updates coming on registration times, as well as when ticket sales open for the Summit Racing Equipment Sick Ward presented by Peak, and Sick Spit Show & Shine.

Motion Raceworks Sick Summer Celebrates Five Years Of Midwest Summer Fun in 2027!
Sick Summer presented by Motion Raceworks has also been a huge hit since we started it in 2023. Neatly lining up with the start of summer and school being out, many families have joined us for the event that visits four tracks in the Midwest.
As with Sick Week in 2026, the Sick Prep team joined us for the first time on Motion Raceworks Sick Summer, resulting in new class records in multiple classes, including the drag and drive national record for a nitrous car, both on single run and average, to lead the news from over 300 competitors that embarked on Sick Summer!
Our summertime event brought spectacular numbers in the grandstands too, as spectators, Sick Ward enthusiasts and Sick Spit Show & Shine participants joined us. Thank you for making the choice to be a part of Sick Summer!
