The Third Annual Olympic Streetcar Shootout in Complete- A Cavar Double-Up Leads the List of First-Time Winners in Washington!
The Olympic Streetcar Shootout, making the move from their past June dates to a new August date in 2026, completed their third year based in the picture-perfect Northwest area of the US.
Based at Bremerton Raceway, the three-day format put competitors on the track for Friday, August 7th for a pair of time slips required by the close of racing. Saturday, August 8th would put the cars and drive to the test of the streets, with miles and a quartet of checkpoints. Sunday would be back on the track, where another pair of time slips was required to compute the final average, and crown six class champions, the most in the event's history.

Three of the classes from the first event continue to be held, the quickest of which is Limited Street. Jarrod Mitcham claimed the title in the class, with Matt Houston sliding into second, and Javier Hernandez in third.
The Hot Street class, based off a 6.50-second index, saw Jason Curtis top the field. Second place went to Sonny Russo, and Matt Moccune rounded out the top three.
The Real Street class (operating on a 7.50-second index) always gets a good crowd, and this year found two-time Top 10 finisher Luke Cavar claimed the top spot with a solid 7.517 average. Sean Emerson claimed second, and third went to Kassie Tippe.
The next two classes, first held at the 2025 event, had some solid performances. The quickest class average came from the Tail Gate class, with Brady David compiled a 5.47 average for the win, followed by Gregg Michalski and Derick Clary.
The popular stick shift class made its way into Olympic Streetcar Shootout in 2025 as 3 Pedal, and Ryan Young just missed a 5-second average with a 6.005 average to top the class. The Enebo family claimed second and third, with Ben Enebo getting second and Caleb in third.
The sixth and final class is a new one to the line-up: Extreme Street, and it also produced the closest results. Just eight hundredths of a second separated the top three, and an ultra-thin thirteen thousandths of-a-second separated the top two!
Jeremy Sears was looking for his second Olympic Streetcar Shootout class win in two years, but Lane Cavar would hold him off with a best of the event 5.200 pass, giving Lane a 5.2625 average to just deny the 5.2760 average from Jeremy. Mike Grady claimed the third spot with a 5.3425 average.
