Sick Week 2027 Track Announcement!

Sick Week 2027 will bring together the baddest street cars in the world for the Super Bowl of drag and drive from February 5-13, 2027.

The event will return to Gainesville Raceway as its host track for 2027. Gainesville will host three days of pre-event testing before competition officially begins on Monday, February 8. From there, the field will be chasing the miles to South Georgia Motorsports Park on February 9, resting for a drive day on February 10, attacking Bradenton Motorsports Park on February 11, then Orlando Speed World on February 12, before returning to Gainesville Raceway for finals on February 13.

The highest standard of tracks and the best horsepower-producing weather conditions will once again combine with the efforts of Sick Prep as we chase world records!

Here’s some of the changes coming in 2027:

• Event expansion to include two extra days of pre-event testing in every racer entry. February 5 and 6 will be dedicated to testing, with February 7 a mix of tech/registration and testing.

• Reduction in pre-entry numbers to improve the event experience, following on from a similar reduction in 2026.

• New class, Sick Sevens (7.50 Index), will be offered for the first time at Sick Week. Rules update to come shortly.

• Additional early entry opportunities for Sick Wildcard holders.

Racer registration opens to the public at 10 a.m. Eastern on October 10, 2026.

If you want to race at Sick Week 2027, the most important thing is to fill out the expression of interest (EOI) form on the event page.

People who will out the EOI form will get access to an early entry opportunity at 9 a.m. Eastern on October 10, 2026.

Top 100 and Wildcard recipients will be receiving an email in coming days with details about how to enter. Please note that all Top 100 and Wildcard entries must be received by Wednesday, October 7 or your place will be allocated to general registration.
