SPEED AND SAFETY — SICK PREP LAUNCHES GLOBAL MOTORSPORT EVENT SERVICES
There’s a new name in motorsport event services, set to bring professionalism and passion to tracks and series around the globe: Sick Prep.
Led by experienced track specialist Thomas Bemis, Sick Prep will be offering a range of services covering the event management spectrum including track surface preparation, track equipment sales, track safety, race directing, event staffing, ticketing and more.
Thomas will be joined by a team that also includes two well-known names in motorsport events, Gavin Carter and Weston Nichols. Both bring decades of experience to Sick Prep, with the skills to turn any motorsport event into a professional show.
Beyond event day, Sick Prep also has the expertise to deliver consulting in and execution of track construction, design and maintenance. Track surface grinding, repairs to flaws such as transition humps, and even ground-up builds are all within the scope of the team.
From its Indiana base, Sick Prep is within a day’s drive of 90% of motorsport venues in the United States, making it the perfect hub of operations. Several high profile events and series are already on board with more to be announced throughout PRI, including at an 11am Thursday launch. And it’s not just the USA, as customers from around the world are lining up from as far afield as Australia.
“The early support has been just awesome and our calendar is already filling up for 2026,” Thomas said. “We’re really excited about the launch of Sick Prep and we invite any track owners, series promoters, or anyone with an interest in motorsport event services to come and see us at booth #6121 (Surface Performance Solutions) during PRI.”
Sick Prep joins a growing number of businesses in the Sick world, including Sick The Magazine, Sick Insurance, Sick Pizza and Sick Town Hall. Sick founder Tom Bailey said Sick Prep was a perfect fit.
“Thomas, Gavin and Weston are all extremely skilled in every facet of motorsport event management and they are definitely as Sick as they come,” Tom said. “The range of services offered is only going to get bigger to ensure that any motorsport venue or series can work with Sick Prep for anything they need.”
