Sick World Expands for 2026 with Huge PRI Announcements

From humble beginnings, Sick has evolved into a motorsports phenomenon. Whether it’s the industry-leading print magazine, the ever-expanding range of events, or now motorsport event services, Sick has innovated and brought new energy to the automotive world and beyond.

PRI 2026 will see some massive announcements from the Sick Team. First stop for the truly Sick among us should be the Gear Vendors Overdrive booth (#3173), where the infamous Sick Ice Cream Truck will be on display. While there won’t be any hot dogs, we do have hundreds of Sick beanies to give away to anybody wearing Sick merchandise. You can even claim an additional beanie each day if you are still wearing your merch — so make sure you are repping your best Sick shirt or hat at the PRI show!

Next you can venture over to see Keith and Tonya Turk’s Bonneville record-setting Camaro at the Vortech booth (#1135). Check out the list of names who have driven this car and see this salty beast for real!

Then it’s time to get the announcements rolling. At 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, head to the Mickey Thompson Tires booth (#3831) for a big event announcement in collaboration with Sick The Magazine. You’re going to want to hear about this cool idea the good folks at Mickey Thompson came up with!

From there, you can walk to the Sick Prep booth (#6121, Surface Performance Solutions) at 11 a.m. on Thursday to hang out with Tom Bailey, Thomas Bemis and the rest of the Sick crew as they launch a brand new motorsport event services company. Make sure you listen out for some of the most well-known events and series in the world who will be engaging the services of Sick Prep!

At 11:30 a.m. Thursday it’s back to Gear Vendors Overdrive for a joint announcement with Street Car Takeover and Street Car Braggin Rights. What are we announcing? You’ll have to be there to find out, but we will say it’s going to be the best party in street car drag racing.

On Thursday night, Fastimes Indoor Karting will play host to Sick Kart Kaos, back for its fourth year. From 6:00 p.m. (invite only), racers will qualify before being chosen for one of eight teams in a ‘schoolyard pick’ format. Who will take the trophy this year?

Back at the Indianapolis Convention Center on Friday, the morning opens at the NHRA stage (#7032) at 10:15 a.m., where Tom Bailey will be talking all things Sick.

Be at Gear Vendors Overdrive at 1 p.m. for an announcement about Sick 66. We’ll be revealing the tracks for this awesome, one-off event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66!

If you feel like getting more technical, Tom will be speaking at the TOPS (Track Operator, Promoter and Sanctioning Body) Panel on pre-event promotion from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room A (242).

So remember, wear your Sick gear to PRI for your free beanie and make sure to engage with us wherever you see us at the PRI show.
