The Road To Sick Week: What Eric Yost and Crew Endured to Attempt Their First Drag-And-Drive Event in Nearly 8 Years!

Less than a week after picking up a win in the Super Street class at 2023 Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, Eric Yost’s friend Logan Tarrant has put together a video about Yost and Ry Klemp’s adventures to just get to the beginning of Sick Week.

(From left to right): Pete Harrell, Ry Klemp and Eric Yost looking a bit worn out after the trip that is Sick Week!

The Camaro that previously picked up Hot Rod Drag Week and Rocky Mountain Race Week wins, hadn’t seen a drag-and-drive event for nearly eight years. It hadn’t even been on the race track in nearly five years!

That meant a lot of work to bring the ‘rust-wrapped’ 1968 Chevrolet Camaro back, and this is an inside look at what they went through to just get to Orlando and get teched in time to participate!
