For Rick and Jacki Steinke, they’ve been around the drag-and-drive scene for quite a while, and although both have done well behind the wheel, Rick’s 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle 4-door is the more well-known ride.
The Chevelle has been absent from the drag-and-drive scene in 2024, but the classic Chevy known as ‘Honk If Parts Fall Off’ will be hunting for a top spot on the upcoming Edelbrock Sick 66 event next month.

With the midpoint of the event in the rear view mirror, Redwood Rally continued north in a combination of coastal miles, as well as making tracks east within the state of Oregon.
Day four would bring the competitors a total of 211 miles to its northernmost point of the week, Woodburn Dragstrip, to see what classes would have leader shake-ups, and which would solidify their class title chances.
Raceweek Wrap – Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 Crowns Champions in Texas
Spanning two states, four tracks and just over 1100 miles on the road, the fifth edition of Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 (Raceweek) came to a close back where it started, Pine Valley Raceway in Lufkin, Texas.
The event brings some unique twists for the final day of competition, as well as four classes of heads-up and bracket racing action, and that awaited the souls that made it back to the start of their week-long journey.
‘Go North’ – Redwood Rally Departs Lone California Track Visit with Oregon and Coos Bay Speedway for Day Three Racing
After getting its start in Medford, Oregon, the second annual Redwood Rally made its way west to the coast of California and Samoa Dragstrip for day two of the event.
For day three, competitors would hit the road north, and follow the Pacific coastline 215 miles back into Oregon and Coos Bay Speedway.

After three race track dates, the competitors at Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 stayed in Louisiana for a second day of racing action.
After making the trek from State Capitol Raceway in Port Allen to Monroe and Twin City Motorsports Park, participants would get their final chance to stake their claim for a class title. Then, it was merely surviving the trip back to Texas, to check the final box to determine class champions.

Covering hundreds of miles of Pacific Northwest area, Redwood Rally will start and end their 2024 campaign at Medford Dragstrip in Medford, Oregon.
Day two would move the tour to Samoa Dragstrip in Samoa, California, then day three goes back to Oregon and Coos Bay Speedway in Coos Bay.
Day four will keep the competitors in Oregon to visit a new track to the event, Woodburn Dragway in Woodburn, Oregon, then the tour returns back to Medford Dragstrip for day five action, followed by additional racing action on September 22nd, including a small tire shootout.
