A DRAG RACING SHOW THAT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!

Three of the biggest names in street car drag racing event promotion will be joining forces for a massive show at Beech Bend Raceway, Kentucky with the running of the first ever Speedfest presented by Sick The Magazine, Street Car Takeover and Braggin Rights. This not-to-be-missed event features:

  • The fastest street cars in the nation

  • Party atmosphere with serious horsepower

  • Fun classes for racers

  • Cameron Ferre Top Fuel Dragster track record attempt

  • Douhit Motorsports Jet Funny Cars

  • Spectacular laser show

The event will kick off on Thursday, May 28 with tech and testing, providing an early chance to see the action. Racers will be treated to a Thursday night welcome party to meet their fellow competitors and enjoy the family-friendly vibes.

The speed ramps up on Friday where qualifying will take place for over 300 street car monsters, across every discipline from drag and drive to roll racing! The day will wrap up with a free concert and entertainment for racers and fans alike.

Speedfest will then get serious with eliminations on Saturday, building into the huge Speedfest Night of Fire, where fans can expect the greatest spectacle in drag racing, from jet cars and nitro, to pyrotechnics and a live laser show.

Gates open 8am. Tech and testing to follow.

Friday, May 29

Gates open 8am. Qualifying until from 10am to late.

Saturday, May 30

Gates open 8am. Eliminations from 10am, finals and Night of Fire.

SICK CLASSES

Sick Sevens

  • Drag and drive format with 100-mile street drive.

  • Three time slips make your average, aim to be as close to 7.500 as possible.

  • The top ten average times will go into a final session to determine the winner. Each of these racers will receive a Sick Week Wildcard.

  • The winner will be the racer who runs closest to 7.500 (without going under) on their single pass in the final session.

  • The winner will receive $5,000 and a Sick orange champion’s helmet.

Sick 8.50 shootout

  • Drag and drive format with 100-mile street drive.

  • Three time slips make your average, aim to be as close to 8.500 as possible.

  • The top ten average times will go into a final session to determine the winner. Each of these racers will receive a Sick Week Wildcard.

  • The winner will be the racer who runs closest to 8.500 (without going under) on their single pass in the final session.

  • The winner will receive $5,000 and a Sick orange champion’s helmet.

DYO

  • Drag and drive format with 100-mile street drive.

  • Aim to submit three time slips with the closest spread possible.

  • The top ten will receive a Sick Week Wildcard.

  • The top five will each get a giant check for $1,000.

  • The winner will receive a Sick orange champion’s helmet.

  • NHRA Junior Street rules, teenage driver with parent/guardian co-driver.

  • The winner will receive $1,000 and a Sick orange champion’s helmet.
