Sick Wildcards Return for 2026 Season with Expanded Offerings – More Entries and More Events – To Race Your Way into Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive in 2027

Sick The Magazine introduced the ‘Sick Wildcards’ in 2025 as a way for top performers to race their way into an ‘early entry’ for the 2026 edition of Sick Week presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive.

The success of the program in seeing some new faces at Sick Week earlier this month reinforces the idea, and Sick The Magazine will bring it back for the 2026 season, as well as expanding on the original concept with more events and more spots.

Sick the Magazine is READY for a solid 2026, as we will host FIVE events, four of them as a major week-long drag and drive event! Make plans to join us at one (or more) of our events: Sick Week presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive, Motion Raceworks Sick Summer, Sick Michigan Miles presented by Driven Racing Oil, Edelbrock Sick 66, and Speedfest. For more information and details, visit the Sick The Mag events page by CLICKING HERE!

“As we get to see some of the top performances at Sick Week, we know there are more people that want to be a part of it each and every year,” said Tom Bailey, creator of Sick The Magazine. “That includes the support of our international competitors, as the Swedes captured their third overall win in 2026.”

Invites to Sick Week 2027 presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive will be available for the top drag-and-drivers during the 2026 season. Sick Wildcards will be earned for placing at the top (overall) at seventeen events throughout the season. No fighting for Sick Week entries that disappear in seconds.

These competitors will earn a chance to attend the ‘Super Bowl of Drag-and-Drive’ and showcase their driving and engineering at the baddest drag-and-drive event in the world.

Sick Wildcards will be available at the following events in 2026:

  • Motion Raceworks Sick Summer (Top Ten Overall)

  • Sick Michigan Miles presented by Driven Racing Oil (Top Ten Overall)

  • Edelbrock Sick 66 (Top Ten Overall)

  • Speedfest (Top Ten in Sick The Mag’s 7.50 and 8.50 classes)

  • The Circuit (Top Three Overall)

  • Back To The Streets (Overall Winner)

  • Rocky Mountain Race Week 2.0 - RACEWEEK (Overall Winner)

Sick The Magazine will keep a list of racers who qualify throughout the year and will then invite them to enter Sick Week 2027 presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive together as part of early registration.
