The Top 100 Averages and Quickest Runs from Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive – Setting the Stage for the 2026 Drag-and-Drive Season

Since 2022, Sick Week presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive has signaled the start to the drag and drive season. We crown champions in seventeen classes, some of them captured by past winners, and even some new records can be set from the combination of great air and prepped race tracks.

It also establishes the starting point for how the season’s performance will play out, and with the stories and rumors leading up to the 2026 edition of Sick Week, some had theorized what the Top 100 single runs and averages could look like at the end of the week. But the results may shock you, as we crunch the numbers.

Event coverage is just one part of the 200+ pages we pack into each issue of Sick the Magazine, which include features, guest columns and MUCH MORE! Get the official magazine of drag-and-drive: CLICK HERE to subscribe to Sick The Magazine!

Event Finishers – Top 100 Averages

The two lists that not only help determine early entry for the 2027 edition for Sick Week, but set the stage for the entire drag-and-drive season. Just how quick are the top 100 averages, and how has it changed from year to year?

The first Sick Week in 2022 had averages ranging from the 6.67 in the top spot, thanks to overall winner and Unlimited class champ Stefan Gustafsson, to the final finisher, James Eby and his 1925 Franklin, with a 24.48 average. The number 100 spot for averages was secured by Joel Clark with a 10.188 average.

One year later, Sick Week’s Top 100 Averages (Rowdy Radial not included) was anchored by Cooper Bogetti’s 10.323. In 2024, Richie Webb occupied the number 100 spot from the 2024 results thanks to a 10.209 average. Stephen Mask would secure the 100th spot in 2025, compiling a 10.497 average in his Buick Roadmaster.

The Top 100 Averages for the 2026 edition Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive are listed below (as well as the Rowdy Radial class averages that factor into the average bump spot):

Top 100 Individual Runs

The second list used to determine early entry for the 2027 edition for Sick Week is the Top 100 Individual Run list. Unlike the average list where the numbers come from participants that complete the event, the Top Individual Run list comes from both finishers and those on the Did Not Finish (DNF) list, with the quickest run from each racer used.

To crack the top 100 historically, a low 9-second time slip has been required, with the top 100 anchored by a 9.300 from Frank Romano in 2022, while a 9.222 from Rob Courtney secured the 100th spot in 2023. Nicholas Desimine locked down the 100th spot with a 9.262 pass after Sick Week 2024 was in the books, and a 9.184 pass from Jason Pickett would be the 100th best from 2025.

The Top 100 Individual Runs from the 2026 Sick Week Presented by Gear Vendors Overdrive are listed below (as well as the Rowdy Radial runs, factored for a quarter-mile):

Looking at everything overall, many expected to see the quicker runs and averages, and the Top 100 Individual Runs backs that up that thought process with the first 8-second bump spot in Sick Week history.

And although the Top 50 averages also reflected the quicker runs and the better cars that are becoming a part of Sick Week, the 10.239 bump spot shows there is still a good amount of room for the cars and trucks that make up the bulk of our events, including several first-time participants.
