A former bracket racer and multi-time top ten finisher in the NMRA’s Modular Muscle class, Rick now takes a laid-back approach to racing and enjoys wheeling a 2020 Ford Mustang GT in street-style events, including Hot Rod Drag Week.

The stars of Pro Modified will converge on Bradenton Motorsports Park this weekend for the fourth Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod presented by J&A Service, March 3-5. Over 50 drivers were invited to fight for the 32 qualifying spots and a shot at the $100,000 winner-take-all prize.

Being in February can bring optimal weather conditions, so Lights Out can commonly see record-setting performances put down, plus a ton of spectators to witness the action over a four-day period.

Joining Cooper Bogetti and Jered Muehlhausen in the winner’s circle would be two more drivers with multiple drag-and-drive events under their belts.

This year, Motion followed brothers Doug and Andy Cook, who both ran the Rowdy Radial class. TBM employee Tanner Stover in the Modified class, and previous Hot Rod Drag Week winner Eric Yost in the Super Street class.

Donovan and new co-pilot Reggie Gonzalez were into day two of driving toward Florida, a mere two hours from Bradenton Motorsports Park.. But just north of the 2022 Sick Week’s final checkpoint, things drastically changed.

Despite a few big events already in the books for the 2023 season, this weekend brings a couple big events to the table that signals the racing season is getting underway.

The class was separated by less than one-thousandth of-a-second on the top two spots in 2022, and with a stacked field of competitors, there was no doubt history could repeat in 2023.
