We will see Jason and Tina Golden on three drag-and-drive events, including Sick Summer Presented by Motion Raceworks in their ‘89 Mustang. But when 2025 rolls around, we will see the husband-and-wife team rolling in a new ride, this 1968 Mustang fastback.

After years of running test and tunes and bracket races, Amos Eason took the plunge into the drag-and-drive world by participating in his first drag-and-drive event at the One Guy’s Garage Drag Weekend event in his home state of Iowa in 2022.

Originally opened in 1958, Thompson Drag Raceway was billed as one of the early race tracks in Ohio. But now, rumors are circulating that the future of the drag strip may be in jeopardy.

After five days of action at South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP), one of the biggest drag radial tire themed races is in the books as Lights Out 15 has crowned champions in multiple classes.

The drag-and-drive that started it all, Hot Rod Drag Week, hits the twenty-year mark in 2024, and as the additional attention swarmed around the event, it was widely assumed that registration would sell out in a matter of minutes.

“The drag-and-drive community is awesome. Total strangers help each other at a moment’s notice. People pull over to check on each other, but have no idea who they are. It’s fun to see all the unique and non-traditional builds. Overall, just a really fun event.”

The car gets its name "The Nightmaro" from its attitude: black, loud (electronic cutouts which are constantly open), and its Christine-like ability to play games with me!

After a couple of years away from radial racing, Stevie ‘Fast’ Jackson has returned to form with a 3.58 at 208 mph run to grab the number one qualifying spot of the Radial Versus the World class. But it was just one part of a interesting first day of qualifying.
